More than a decade ago, Daniel Suelo, just shy of 40 at the time, took his entire life savings––$30 in cash––and dumped it inside a phone booth.
Then he turned his back on currency for good .
In a new book, The Man Who Quit Money , Suelo's longtime friend and writer Mark Sundeen guides readers down the path that led Suelo to turn his back on everything he ever knew.
"He's not just sitting there on a hill becoming enlightened," Sundeen says. "He's really engaging with the world and he wants to get his message across."
